It’s easy to complete the  ONLINE APPLICATION HERE . If you have a current Eden student that will be re-enrolled during February Re-Enrollment, you will select the  Additional Student Application   for the new student you wish to enroll.

THANKSGIVING FEAST & BLESSING OPPORTUNITY
November 22
Students in FDK-grade 12
 
Our annual Thanksgiving luncheon is specially prepared by Medure's Catering and has become an Eden favorite.
 
This year, not only can you order your child a delicious meal, you can also bless a meal forward to encourage someone in need. And, donated meals will be generously matched by Medure's catering, so one meal becomes two!
 
The cost is of the lunch is $6.75 and includes turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, buttered green beans, stuffing, roll, milk, and dessert.
 
  • The Thanksgiving lunch can only be ordered on ParentsWeb.
  • Campus Cuisine hot lunches are NOT available on Friday, November 22. Campus Cuisine will issue a refund for any lunches ordered.
  • If you do not order the Thanksgiving feast, please send a packed lunch for your student.

A MESSAGE FROM MR. AIKEN
Dear Parents,

Congratulations to the Varsity Boys’ Cross Country team as they built on their first WPIAL Section Championship and finished in third place at the WPIAL Championships at California University of Pennsylvania and qualified for the PIAA State Championships in Hershey, Pennsylvania Team members are Eric Gronbeck, Wes Rodu, Alex Diaz, Ian Bilger, Brandon Gunzburg, Colin Hicks, Sean Aiken, David Kettel, Noah Reaoch, and AJ Wagstaf f.
 
Congratulations to the following runners who medaled at the championships by finishing in the top 15: Eric Gronbeck (4th overall) and Sean Aiken (12th overall) .
 
In the girls championship race, Katelyn Shaver finished 26th overall and qualified for PIAA State Championships . Congratulations!

The Upper School worship team led students, staff, parents, and grandparents in celebration of God's goodness. Mr. Kolarik's message reminded us - students, staff, parents, and grandparents - that whatever we do, big or small, can be done for the glory of God!

Red & White Night

Bring your Eden spirit, wear your Eden gear, and join us for a night to support our basketball and cheer athletes!

  • Basketball teams - Middle School Girls, Middle School Boys, JV and Varsity Girls, JV and Varsity Boys - will each play a scrimmage

  • All athletes will be introduced

  • Admission is one non-perishable food item per person (donations will go to a local food bank)

  • There will be contests throughout the evening for free Eden spirit wear

  • Concession stand will be open

We hope to see you there!

2019 Powderpuff Games


Despite the cold day, there was great fan turnout for the 2019 Powderpuff Games. High school girls competed in the tournament, organized by the senior class, and in the final game of the muddy afternoon the junior class won against the seniors with a score of 49-17.

Thanks to the many students and parents who came and cheered at the event!

Forms and payment for AP class exams are due in the front office by Tuesday, October 29. Forms were emailed to students and parents on October 14 and extras are in the front office.

POINT PARK COLLEGE HIGH SCHOOL MEDIA DAY
Friday, Nov 1, 2019
The Center for Media Innovation and School of Communication hosts High School Media Day twice a year at Point Park University. High school students and teachers are invited to the event to learn about media and communication industries.

Point Park faculty members lead interactive sessions within their specialty areas; topics include: advertising, broadcasting, media ethics, multimedia, photojournalism and public relations. The program includes lunch and the option to have a Point Park professor critique your high school's student newspaper.

SENIOR PORTRAITS
Senior portraits are due by November 1, 2019 . There are two options to provide your vertical headshot, 300 dpi jpeg:

  1. Upload your image directly to our yearbook website at https://images.jostens.com/414653674. This is our preferred method of submission. 
  2. Email your image to Mrs. Potter at apotter@edenca.org.

Important notes about senior portraits:
  • Clothing must comply with the school dress code. The yearbook staff reserves the right to refuse your photograph if it is inappropriate.
  • No full body poses along with hands near face. Your photo should be a vertical headshot. 
  • Indoor or outdoor photos are accepted. 
  • Background should be simple and uncluttered. 
  • No texture, name stamping, embossing, logo, or date stamp should be visible.
