Tomorrow is a Reading Day
Halloween at O'Hara
Our students and teachers stretched out our tradition of Halloween costumes over the course of several days this week. They looked great and were very creative!

Important Attendance Reminders
Whether a student is in school or learning virtually, Cardinal O’Hara upholds the same attendance policies. Any changes in a student’s attendance should be communicated by an adult via the attendance line- 610-544-3800 extension 1827.
This includes, but is not limited to, early dismissals, funerals, medical appointments, sudden illness during the school day or other emergencies, etc.

If your child is going to be virtual on a day he or she is expected in the building, you must call the attendance line to indicate that your child will be "Virtual on an in-person day." It is critical for the safety and security of everyone that we have an accurate count of who is physically present in the school building in case of emergencies. However, all students should stick to their hybrid or fully virtual schedule. Hybrid students should only go temporarily virtual if they are having surgery, require a brief extended absence, or are advised to quarantine, and should clear this with school administration prior.
No Outside Food Permitted
Just a reminder that home baked goods are not permitted to be sold or distributed to students due to health and safety concerns. This includes bake sales, celebrations, and other fundraising events. Individually wrapped, store bought items are permitted.

Voter Assembly
Yesterday, our students participated in a Voter Assembly. This assembly was organized and moderated by senior, Olivia Wick. We are most grateful to our panelists Senator Tom Killion, Councilwoman Kathleen Bell, Dr. Eugene Halus and Mr. Rob Wills for taking the time to speak with our students. Members of our senior class were able to ask the panelists some questions about things to keep in mind when voting. It was a very informative assembly and we thank Olivia and the panelists for this great opportunity.

Join the Mothers' and Fathers' Club
"One of the greatest gifts you can give is your time."
Cardinal O'Hara parents are actively engaged in the school community. The Mothers' and Fathers' Club works to support the many events, programs and services that O'Hara offers. They work with the school to support its overall mission as an educational community steeped in the values of pride, excellence and tradition.
The 2020-21 school year is impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic and the need to safely socially distance. However, we still need parent and volunteer support and we will do what we can virtually as well as follow all health and safety policies with events.
We invite all parents and guardians to volunteer as much as they are able. Please review the variety of opportunities and register to volunteer: Reach out to Jen Tuberosa ( or Michelle O'Hanlon ( with questions.
Thankful Thursday
This will be our 5th year for Thankful Thursday's. The teachers and staff have tremendously enjoyed your generosity the past four years. On each of the Thursdays in November, the parents volunteer to bring in treats for our faculty and staff to enjoy as a sign of gratitude for all that they do for our students.

Attention Theatre Students!
Students interested in participating in our upcoming production of Music Man should register online in the link below. This includes performers, stage crew and/or orchestra members. Auditions take place this Sunday, November 1st at 12:00pm. For full details, visit our website below.
