The weather is shifting, and I can’t wait to see the leaves turn. I think fall may just be my favorite season. Thank You, God, for keeping Your promises in every change of the seasons. 🙏🏽

It’s been another great week at VAA! I thought I finally got it right with the shoe situation in innovation class, but these Croc tennis shoes are definitely going back… LOL. I’ll give it one more try with another pair of shoes! On the bright side, I did manage to master the messy sisterlocks bun this week—hehehe.

Today in chapel, our students were blessed to have Mr. Mike, one of our favorite artists, lead us in worship. The children always enjoy his music and energy! Pastor Vinnie then shared a powerful message about friendship. He asked us to reflect: What kind of friend are you?

He explained that a “snacktime friend” is someone who chooses you, while a “battlefield friend” is someone you choose to stand with—just like Jonathan chose David in the Bible. Pastor Vinnie reminded us of the importance of being loyal, faithful friends who stand by each other in all circumstances.

We are grateful for this thought-provoking message and the reminder to shine bright in our friendships!

Friday Clubs at VAA are more than just activities—they’re opportunities for students to discover creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving in action. 🍩 Our Cooking Club filled the air with the smell of pumpkin and apple-cinnamon donuts, 🍎 our Lego and Programming Clubs built and coded with imagination, and ✂️ our Sewing Club brought puppets to life. Each week, our students are not just learning skills, but shining bright as innovators and creators. 🌟
