United Methodist Men meet Saturday, November 1, at 8:00am in the Palo Verde Room. All are welcome, men and women, and meetings are filled with fellowship, music, information and lively discussions. This month, Randy Hamilton will discuss a proposal for a New Beginnings Village in Liberia. The vision is for sustainable agriculture under a cooperative model, with revenue sharing from crop production, for 100 families on two-acre farm plots equipped with a solar microgrid and solar wells.

Our annual Church Conference will be held on Wednesday, November 5, at 6:30pm in the Palo Verde Room. All Dayspring members are invited to join church leadership and Rev. Melissa Rynders, Superintendent of the East District of the Desert Southwest Conference, for this important yearly gathering. During the meeting, we will elect officers for the coming year, approve salaries, receive annual reports, and review the overall mission and ministry of the church.

A Blessing of Prayer Shawls, Blankets, & Pillowcases will take place during the 10:00 service next Sunday, November 9, as we celebrate these handmade gifts created for children in Arizona Foster Care. All knitters, crocheters, and sewing enthusiasts are invited to participate and bring their items before either service. Come share in this meaningful ministry of comfort, compassion, and care. Immigrant families in our community have been hit hard by the actions of the current federal administration.

Grass roots efforts to support these families with donations of food are ongoing. If you would like to help, we will have a table on 2nd Sundays where you can bring non-perishable food donations and learn about other actions you can take to help. Please email Laura for more information. 

Project Hope Send-Off

This Sunday, we will gather during Kid’s Time to bless Prince as he prepares to travel to Liberia with the funds raised by our children through Snow Cone Sundays!

Through the generosity of the Dayspring congregation and the hard work of the children, he's bringing enough to build a new well and maintain/repair several others, providing clean water to communities in need. Join us in praying for Prince’s safe travels and for the continued impact of this beautiful ministry that reminds us how small acts of love can ripple across the world.

BeTween Continues on Wednesdays at 6:45pm

Our BeTween group will continue meeting on Wednesday evenings for faith, friendship, and fun. If you have a 4th–6th grader who is looking to connect with others, serve the community, and deepen their understanding of God, we’d love for them to join us!

The Dayspring youth are selling Butter Braid pastries starting November 16, following the 10:00 service on the patio. Pickup is on December 14 and 21. If you haven’t tried these delicious Butter Braids, now’s your chance! This fundraiser will support the youth program and summer Sierra Service Project trip!

Join more than 70 local vendors at the Dayspring Preschool and Kindergarten’s 40th annual Holiday Boutique on Friday, November 21, from 9:00-7:00 and Saturday, November 22, from 9:00-4:00. Admission is free. There will be food and entertainment throughout the weekend.
