Pastor's Word of the Week

Dear Church Family,

This past weekend was wonderful! Those of you who came out and worked in the morning and/or afternoon portions were a real blessing! We made some very meaningful connections! We do have a few extra “For the Heart” t-shirts available if you didn’t get one (Sizes Medium to 3XL). Just contact me

If we are going to reach this community for Christ it's going to come through investing ourselves in prayer, outreach, connection, and going. The days of people simply showing up at church one Sunday have passed and we need to shift our thinking to meet the new ways people connect with us. This week we will be finishing up our series on Truth in a Post Truth World by looking at the Truth of our Confession. It’s an

important message for us to internalize as Christ calls us to take that Truth to the World around us.

I want to say as well that I know it’s never easy to change the way you have always done things. There is a certain comfort that comes from the known and the usual. But I also know that this church has a rich history of shifting its approaches and methods to see the Angleton area reached for Christ; this continues today. Thank you for that!

I am really looking forward to spending the Thanksgiving and Christmas seasons with you! We have our Operation Christmas Child drive, out Thanksgiving meal donation event, Thanksgiving itself will include a special Sunday service on November 22nd where we join together for worship and a meal in the auditorium, our Christmas musical (time to be determined), and our Christmas Eve candlelight Service all ahead of us. We hope you will be a part of as many of these opportunities as possible!

I love you all!

Pastor Tim

THANKS FOR GIVING

October 25, 2026

Need a place during the service?

Parents, we're so glad you're here! Children are always welcome to remain in the main auditorium with you. Their sounds, wiggles, and occasional chatter are a joyful reminder that families are part of our church community.

Whether you are a parent or just someone who needs a different space, if, at any point in the service, you feel the need to separate yourself from the larger group, we have a Family Room available right next to the Coffee Bar. The service is livestreamed there, giving those who need it a little more room to be themselves as they continue participating in worship. After the service, we would love for you to return to the auditorium or fellowship areas to connect with others.

We're grateful you're worshiping with us today!

Note: Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
