Worthy Is The Lamb
“The Four Horsemen”
“After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!” Revelation 7:9-10 ESV

JESUS & CULTURE
Starting Wednesday, October 6th, 6:30pm – 8:00pm
LOCATION: SOUTH Building
Today’s Christian teenagers find themselves living in a culture that is antagonistic to much of what they believe. Against this backdrop, how do they know how to engage with culture in a way that keeps their influence intact, but keeps them from being negatively impacted by the world? The good news is that Jesus had lots to say about this.
By looking at what Jesus had to say about culture Students will understand how to live as Christ-followers in the world they find themselves living in. Students will learn how to embrace being separate from the world but still living in it; how their lives as Christ-followers will be counter-cultural; how they are affected by what they consume of culture through media and entertainment; and that Christ’s ultimate goal for them is to embrace holiness in their interactions with culture.
This week, pray…
MONDAY: (A) ABBA, only You are our refuge. A true shelter in this harsh world.
TUESDAY: (A) ABBA, You are the author of music. May we fill Your sanctuary with
our songs of praise.
WEDNESDAY: (A) ABBA, into Your courts we can enter with confidence.
THURSDAY: (C) ABBA, hear the confessions of our hearts.
FRIDAY: (T) ABBA, the magnitude of Your love is un-measurable, and we, in our
brokenness, thank You for it.
SATURDAY: (S) ABBA, give us the desire to search the depths of Your Word for You.
SUNDAY: ABBA, give us a desperation for 'our three' who do not know You.
Verse of the week: 2 Corinthians 1:3-4
“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Chris, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.”

Annual Homeless Aid: October 23rd & 24th, 2021
Each year our church aids the homeless in the Aurora/Denver area by donating items they need for winter. Every year we are asked if we have backpacks and socks. Since we want to be a church for our community we decided to adjust what we typically give to them (blankets and coats). Our goal is to hand out 100 backpacks and 200 pairs of socks. If you can help with this, please place your donation (new or lightly used backpacks and new socks only) into the provided bins in the foyer by Oct 24. Each year we also make no-sew scarves. If your family would like to help with this, come to the north building foyer on Oct 23 from 9-10am. If you would like to help hand out these items to the homeless, please sign up at the 'Get Connected' table. For more information, please talk to anyone in the Bryan Life Group.
