Thank you for the outpouring of love and supplies for victims of Hurricane Helene. Since the last update, Ken Whitwell and Hock Hockenberry have completed a trip to Steinhatchee, FL to deliver supplies and assist in laboring in various ways. The last batch of supplies was used to restock Steinhatchee's distribution depot. Additionally, two trailers full of essential supplies were delivered to another nearby area that was in desperate need.
This week, several from the Grumpy Old Men group will travel (weather permitting) to the area to assist in drywall and insulation installation. We will continue to assess how we might be most helpful in supporting our Florida neighbors and keep you updated on needs and progress.

Trunk or Treat: Calling for Candy & Trunks!
Wednesday, October 30, 5:30-7:00pm
Trunk or Treat will be here before we know it! We will host our community for an evening of candy, hotdogs, music, and fun! If you'd like to be a part of this event via candy donation, please drop off bagged pre-wrapped candy at the Hospitality Desk. If you'd like to host a trunk, sign up using the link below! We are bringing back the best trunk award, pictured below! The deadline for candy and trunk sign-up is Sunday, October 27.

It’s Angel Tree Season!
Angel Tree exists to provide Christmas gifts for children in our immediate area who would otherwise go without. If you’d like to sponsor a child(ren), there are 3 ways to do so: 1. Purchase gifts using the info card you will receive at a later date, 2. Donate financially to our Angel Tree fund, 3. Be a shopper- use donated funds to shop for children. Sign-up will be on October 13 and 20 in the Gathering Lobby. We can’t wait to spread the joy of Jesus this Christmas season!

Memorial Brick Pathway
Bricks are available for purchase in memory or honor of a loved one and will be continually added to our beautiful pathways between the Sanctuary and Education buildings. Each brick is 4x8" and costs $50. Visit Hospitality Desk to find out more. We look forward to adding more to this beautiful asset to our campus as a way to remember and honor those we love.

Bright Bridge Volunteers Needed

Bright Bridge exists to show God’s love to those in need in the Brownsville area. Each Wed, we send a team of volunteers to cook. Activities Center Yoga
Tuesdays weekly
If you are looking for a way to build strength, flexibility, and balance, come check out the Tuesday morning yoga classes available in our gym. Becca Schmidt offers Gentle Yoga from 8:30-9:45am and Chair Yoga from 10:00-11:00am. All classes are on a drop-in basis. The cost is $5 for Gentle Yoga and $3.50 for Chair Yoga. Please bring your own yoga mat and beach towel, and wear comfortable attire. No matter your age, you can find a class that suits your needs. If you have any questions, contact the church office to be connected with Becca!

Transformance is a strength training class for children and adults that takes place each Monday and Thursday in the Activities Center at various times throughout the day. $75/month or $15/day. See more by visiting our website.

1st & 3rd Thursdays, 9:30am-12:30pm
You're invited to join this group for a time of fellowship and quilting in the Activities Center. Quilts and other items are crafted and given to persons facing difficult situations as a gesture of comfort and thoughtfulness. Use your talents to spread the love of God as part of this important group of service and fellowship.

Prayer Shawl Ministry
1st & 3rd Wednesdays, 2:00-4:00pm
The Prayer Shawl Ministry exists to knit and crochet blankets and other items of comfort and encouragement. These items are given to newborn babies, those facing health issues, and more. Come and be a part of this group of fellowship and giving- all are welcome! It's a wonderful time of getting to know others while also making a difference for those who need to feel God's care.

Men's Bible Study
Mondays at 6:00am in the Activities Center
All men are invited to join us as we read Isaiah by The Wiersbe Bible Study Series. Call the church office for more information.
Women's and Young Women's Bible Studies
The Women’s Bible Study and Young Women's Bible Study recently resumed and it's not too late to jump in if you'd like to get involved!
The Monday Women's Bible Study is using the book “Now that Faith Has Come: A Study of Galatians” by Beth Moore and Melissa Moore. Mondays at 9:00am in the Activities Center.
On Tuesdays, the Young Women’s Bible Study meets at 9:00am in the Activities Center studying “In His Image” by Jen Wilkin (Nursery Provided in the Education Building).
Also, don't forget that we offer a Women's Small Group on Wednesday Evenings at 5:30pm! Perfect for those who are unable to attend the above studies or prefer meeting in the evenings. Childcare provided!
All women are invited to join as we aim to know and love God and one another more deeply!

Intercessory Prayer Group Meeting
Tuesdays at 8:30am
You are invited to join our intercessors in the Gathering Lobby for their weekly prayer meeting. If you have a prayer need that you would like to add to the prayer list, email it to prayer@perdidobay.church or you may use our App to submit your prayer request. Additionally, you may fill out a prayer request card at the Hospitality Desk.
Prayer lists are available to be picked up at the Hospitality Desk.

A nursery is available for all church services and many activities. Wee Worship takes place Sunday mornings during Worship Services. Preschool Sunday school is at 10:00am. Contact jeanne@perdidobay.church for more information!

PBUMC Kids Ministry (Elementary: K - 5th Grade)
PBUMC Kids Ministry is for children in Kindergarten through 5th Grades. Each Sunday morning is Children's Worship at both 9:00am and 11:00am. At 10:00am we have Sunday School. Email elementary@perdidobay.church to be placed on our email list so that you can stay up to date about upcoming activities.
