HOLY FAMILY CAFETERIA
We are looking for a few volunteers to help us out occasionally in the cafeteria this year! We could really use some extra hands to help us serve your children more efficiently. Specifically, we are looking for volunteers to help to hand out milk and helping us oversee the students returning their trays at the end of lunch. If you could help us out, even one day a month, we would appreciate it. (It’s also a nice way to see your children during their school day!) Serving hours are from 10:45 to 12:30. Anyone who volunteers at Holy Family Catholic School must be Virtus trained. Parents must submit their TSF or volunteer Hours on their own. Holy Family Catholic School office staff or kitchen staff cannot do this for you.

|
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
We are looking for volunteers. If you are interested in helping out (and fulfilling your family service hours), please contact the office. All volunteers must be VIRTUS trained and background checked.

VOLUNTEERING AT HOLY FAMILY
|
Every adult who volunteers at Holy Family is required to have a current background check on file, complete a VIRTUS training course, and sign a volunteer agreement each year. Volunteer requirements are mandated by the Diocese of Green Bay, and there are no exceptions. We strongly encourage everyone to go through the process because volunteer opportunities will come up and your name must be on our approved list prior to the event, whether it's chaperoning a field trip, selling Scrip, or helping in your child's classroom.
-
BACKGROUND CHECK Volunteers are required to provide personal references, sign a declaration form, and authorize a criminal background check (and receive a satisfactory report) Click here to complete the background check. Enter code: gbdioc04
- All volunteers who have contact with children are required to complete VIRTUS Protecting God's Children training. Register here. The Green Bay Diocese is currently not offering in-person training, so all training is online.

Each month, our event calendar offers a variety of activities for your family as a way to support our school in meeting our fundraising goals. Each month we strive to offer a family-friendly event and an adult event. If you haven’t joined us yet, consider the events in October. SCRIP
A Message from Scrip Coordinator
Next week, October 11th, we will still be processing scheduled and online orders, but cards from our local vendors will NOT be available, so please plan accordingly. I have ordered extra Woodman's and Grand Central Station to have in our case for our in-person sales and we will try to fill orders with what we have on hand.
This Friday, October 8, starts RaiseRight's 3-Day Bonus sales which will run every weekend for 3 days until October 31. Each weekend will feature a different lineup of brands with special bonus rebates and include eGift cards, physical cards, and reloads to existing cards. These purchases can be made using the RaiseRight app, so if you haven't yet downloaded the app, now is a great time.
Profit notices will be sent out next week to all participating families to give you an update on where you're at with your rebates. There will be a Scrip "fundraiser" being sent home in a couple of weeks which can be a great opportunity to earn rebates from friends and family while involving your children with incentives(NUT pass rewards!), so stay tuned.

Please continue to monitor your children at home for Covid-related symptoms which can include but are not limited to fever, sore throat, headache, body aches, fatigue, runny nose, stomach issues, and coughing. If your children or anyone in your household is experiencing symptoms, students should stay home. Please call our school office to report absences or to report symptoms, concerns, exposures, or positive cases.
