Dear Sr. Laura,
The dove is a beautiful symbol of peace. I'm conscious of the need for peace as the world marks the one year anniversary of the massacre in Israel. My heart weeps for ALL the places and people in our world that are ravaged by war and violence. I'm sure God weeps with all who suffer as well.
It's challenging times like these that we need to find time to tend to our hurting heart. Politics, natural disasters, suffering on any level all can drain our spirit. That's why Mount Saint Mary House of Prayer is an oasis. We need places of safety, welcome and inspiration--today more than ever.
There are lots of exciting programs and events taking place these weeks. I invite you to read below and see what touches your heart.
