Prevention Links(PL) is a non-profit organization that has taken a leadership role in the prevention of drugs, alcohol, tobacco, and substance use related issues in Union County for nearly 50 years.  
We are asking community members and families to join us in this fight by registering a team to come to the walk, as well as aid in fundraising efforts. This is a fun and unique opportunity for friends and family to work together to make a difference in turning the tide of the addiction crisis facing our community. Your support would mean a lot to us! The Red Ribbon Walk will also have  a Family Fun Day, which includes a costume contest, petting zoo, pumpkin painting, kids crafts and more!  If you are interested in registering yourself and your family please visit:

Elizabeth Development Company Awarded $10,000 Major Grant from The Provident Bank Foundation 
Elizabeth Development Company has received a Major Grant in the amount of $10,000 from The Provident Bank Foundation to support the Workforce Development & Education Program.
Elizabeth Development Company (EDC) has been recognized for the significant role it has played in sustaining a vibrant and thriving workforce development program serving residents of Union and Essex Counties. EDC's programs assist eligible unemployed or under-employed residents of Union and Essex counties to receive training and supportive services for employment in the Hospitality, Food-Service, and Construction industries. EDC has a strong pre-apprenticeship program for the skilled construction trades and was recently awarded NJBUILD Regional Grant and a Women in Construction Trades Grant from the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development. The generous award from The Provident Bank Foundation Board will further strengthen the reach and effectiveness of our services and programs.
