Scrip Orders need to be turned in by Monday at 10:30. I will try and send orders home as soon as I

can fill them, with your child. Watch your raise right app. Every day they have bonuses for different

companies on the e-scrip and you can earn higher percentages on your purchases.

Other Fundraising news:

The Fall Gifts and Cookie Dough Fundraiser will start on October 9 th . Thank you

for a successful popcorn fundraiser. We sold 1462 bags of popcorn this year.

Great job everyone.

Last year during the month of October we participated in an art contest with Young Artists

which led to our drawings being published with one of our students’ drawing chosen for

the cover. The kids loved it so much they wanted to do it again.

The theme this year is Trick or Treat. The students will have the opportunity to enter a drawing of anything related to trick or treating or Halloween and I will submit them all to Young Artist by the end of October.

They will choose which drawings they want to publish as well as choosing the covers. The school with the best drawing will earn a $1000 gift card and if we win, we’re having a Pizza Party! Wish us Luck!

“Serve the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful song.” — Psalm 100:2

Through God’s grace, each of us has been blessed with unique gifts, talents, and abilities. We are called to share these gifts joyfully in love of God and neighbor. When we prayerfully discern how God is calling us to use our gifts, we become more intentional in serving our parish, our community, and one another.

Each year at Easter, we renew our baptismal promises—rejecting sin and professing our faith—as a sign of our renewed life in Christ. In a similar way, our annual Catholic Stewardship Renewal allows us to renew our commitment to our parish and its mission. It is a tangible way to affirm that we are part of our parish family and that we desire to help our parish grow and thrive.

This year, we invite you to “Serve the Lord with Gladness” by sharing your time and talents with our parish. You can serve in many ways, through hospitality, prayer, formation, and service. Whether you have an hour to give, a special skill to share, or simply a desire to help, there is a place for you!

This year’s Ministry Guide will be sent home with the youngest student of each St. Peter parish family on Friday. Please take some time to review the many opportunities available and prayerfully consider how God may be calling you to serve.

Directions for completing the Time & Talent commitment form are included with the materials. Please complete and return your commitment by the weekend of October 24-25, 2026. You can complete it online or return a hard copy in the collection basket at Sunday Mass or to the school office. Please note, all parishioners are called to complete a new Time & Talent commitment form every October. Even if you recently completed one, please complete one in October, the diocese-wide Stewardship Renewal Month.

Thank you for sharing your gifts and for helping make our parish a vibrant community of faith. May we all answer Christ’s call to “Serve the Lord with Gladness!”.

Quick Reference Guide to the Diocese of Jefferson City Stewardship Model

Catholic Stewardship Renewal/Time and Talent Form

TO BE AN “ACTIVE” CATHOLIC STEWARD MEANS:

  • To Pray: that is, attend Mass faithfully in the parish on weekends and Holy Days.
  • To Participate: that is, to use one’s time and talents to strengthen the parish community and advance the Gospel.
  • To Sacrificially Give: that is, pledge and remain current on a tithe of financial first fruits to support the life and ministries of the parish. The goal is 8% to the parish and 2% to other worthy charities.
