First, stop at our booth #4304. Then, mark your calendars and plan to attend our Leader Development Series Celebrating Women in the Army: The Past, The Present, The Future on Monday, 14th October hosted by The U.S. Army Women’s Foundation in partnership with AUSA.

Please note you must register through the AUSA registration site to attend. The AUSA – 2019 Annual Meeting & Exposition is free and you don’t need to be an AUSA member to attend. Register here .

Implemented on October 1, 2019 the Army combat fitness test (ACFT) will now be conducted by all Soldiers Army-wide. Soldiers will also conduct the APFT as the official test of record during a one-year transition until October 1, 2020. While some aspects of standards, training, and administration are being finalized, procedures and techniques are documented in Field Manual (FM) 7-22, Army Physical Readiness Training (PRT), 2012. U.S. Army leaders recently declared victory over the service's recruiting crisis, announcing that it had exceeded its fiscal 2019 goals for recruiting and retention and increased the number of women in its active-duty ranks.

Before they called her general, they called her "Ramba" in Puerto Rico -- the female version of Rambo. Brigadier General Irene Zoppi became the first Puerto Rican woman to be promoted to general officer in the US Army Reserve in 2017. Zoppi overcame many obstacles to develop an impressive military and professional career.

The nonpartisan, nonprofit White House Historical Association recently announced the 2019 Official White House Christmas Ornament will be a tiny replica of Army One, bearing a presidential seal on one side and Eisenhower’s five-star rank on the other. Learn more .
