This week's Time Saver / Helpful Hint topic is:
"Name Changes & Corresponding Security Description"
When an issue changes it's name, and a new ticker symbol is assigned, our data vendor Interactive Data Corp. does not retain the original security name. For example, Priceline (PCLN) changed it's name to Booking Holdings (BKNG) effective February 27, 2018.

If you request a valuation for Priceline, prior to the February 27, 2018 name change date, the security description would show Bookings Holdings even though the issue was actually Priceline on the valuation date.

ESI-Direct,version 1, introduced nearly a decade ago, significantly improved the process by which OneSource Trust and Estate Administration (OTEA) clients were able to populate their starting assets for estates and trusts. Since then, the underlying technology has advanced and we collaboratively saw an opportunity to improve the product. The release of version 2 (V2), which has been in development for quite a while, improves the speed and reliability of the valuation process. Our presenter is Earl Linton, Product Trainer for OTEA.
