Walk through "Hoosiers & Their Hooch: Perspectives on Prohibiton," a traveling exhibit from the Indiana Historical Society.
The exhibit spans the temperance movement of the 1900s, the roaring 1920s, and the unprecedented repeal of a constitutional amendment during the Great Depression. Sights, sounds and experiences of the time are brought to life by images and graphics from IHS's collection.

Prohibition is one of the most controversial topics in American history. Nowhere were these forces felt more fully than in Indiana. Dr. Jason Lantzer, author of Prohibition Is Here to Stay: The Reverend Edward S. Shumaker and the Dry Crusade in America, will provide an engaging look.

Retired Greenfield Central history teacher Bill Murphy shares his love of Indiana basketball with two new books.
Murphy will talk "Indiana basketball" and discuss why Hoosier Hysteria inspired him to become an author.
His most recent work, Am I a Hoosier? is a children's picture book about a boy who, after moving to Indiana, wants to know what it takes to be called a Hoosier.
The second, for adults, is The Indiana Hoosiers Fans' Bucket List. Murphy and co-author Terry Hutchens provide ideas and insider tips for must-see places and can't-miss activities.

Society members are passionate about sharing their love and talent for the genre with everyone. They play and sing folk, gospel, and old-time music.
The group has mastered acoustic instruments such as guitar, bass, autoharp, both mountain and hammered dulcimer, mandolin, fiddle, banjo and ukulele. After the performance, musicians invite the audience to try out their instruments.
