Building Relationships and Knowledge: Yomara’s Journey with BOMA
"As a Commercial Property Restoration Company new to BOMA, we were welcomed with open arms. I love the networking opportunities and industry updates they provide. BOMA is an amazing organization with incredible people who are always willing to help.
There are so many events, such as the Regional Roundtable, Power Hours, Golf Tournaments, various Committees to get involved in, and my personal favorite, the Annual Toy Drive. My knowledge of the commercial real estate industry has grown immensely.
I look forward to continuing to build and grow new relationships within BOMA."

Legislative Session Wrap-Up: Wins, Challenges, and What’s Next as Election Season Heats Up
As the regular state legislative session ends, we celebrate wins, acknowledge losses, and take pride in narrowing negative impacts on critical issues.
Our efforts with our allies at BOMA California, fueled by your dues dollars investment and direct engagement, have made a significant impact. During this cycle, members sent over 100 messages to state lawmakers about our key legislative priorities, influencing the decisions that shape our industry.
Key outcomes include:
-
Narrowing SB 1103 to exclude security deposit limits and limiting who qualifies as a "qualified tenant."
-
Stopping AB 2374 in committee and reducing AB 2364 to a study bill. The original form of this bill would have doubled janitorial costs for properties.
While AB 98 passed, we'll continue to oppose its costly mandates in the next session. You can read about all of the BOMA Cal Top 10 outcomes here.
Many of these outcomes represent thousands or hundreds of thousands of dollars saved by our members.
With election season underway, stay connected with BOMA on the Frontline for voter guides as ballots go out next week!
