Dear Villa Madonna Academy Alumni,
There is something especially meaningful about hearing from those who know Villa not simply as a school but as a place that helped shape who they are. Over the past several weeks, as we have gathered input for Forward Together, Villa Madonna Academy’s Strategic Plan, I have been reminded again of the extraordinary connection our alumni have to our beloved Villa. Your voices matter. You are an important part of Villa’s story—and an essential part of our future.
We now move from listening to analysis. Our Strategic Plan Steering Committee will review the results and themes that emerged from the surveys and conversations. From there, we will begin identifying the priorities that will guide Villa over the next several years. This work will also be in collaboration with our Board of Directors as we develop a cohesive and comprehensive plan for Villa’s future.
As we define where Villa is going, we are also beginning to think about the needed resources. Our next campaign will strengthen Villa for generations to come. The Strategic Plan will help us identify our most important priorities; the campaign will ultimately help provide the resources to bring that vision to life.
Throughout it all, one thing remains constant: Villa’s greatest strength has always been its people.
Generations of students have walked these halls, formed lifelong friendships, discovered their gifts, and carried the values of Villa into their families, professions, communities, and the world.
To our alumni, thank you for carrying Villa with you. Thank you for staying connected, for cheering us on, for sharing your memories, for supporting our students, and for believing in what Villa can become.
There is important work ahead—and tremendous opportunity. I look forward to sharing that journey with you as we move Forward, Together.
