Booster Club Membership - Join Now!

BE A PART OF THE TEAM BEHIND THE TEAM!

We are off to a record-breaking year with memberships and sponsorships! Thank you to all the families who have joined the Booster Club. You are what makes Churchill athletics amazing.

Why join? Whether your student is an athlete, a fan, or participates in PE, the Booster Club helps make the experience safer, more competitive, and more fun by providing important resources and support!

What is the Booster Club? The Booster Club works with the Athletic Department to ensure that our athletes have the necessary equipment and facilities to compete safely and at the highest possible level each year. The county provides Churchill with only a fraction of what it takes to support our sports teams. In a typical year, the athletics budget spent per athlete (per roster spot) at Churchill is around $220, yet the County’s contribution is less than $80. The Booster Club plays a critical role in providing supplemental resources to help offset this shortfall.

Can’t remember if you joined this year? Several teams are getting close to 100% membership! Will it be your team? If you can’t remember if you joined the Booster Club already this year, ask your Team Booster Rep or send an email to our Membership Chair, Claire Drummond and she’ll check for you!" [insert Claire’s email as a link to her name]. Help your team earn 10% of it’s membership dollars and $300 for 100% team membership!

Your annual membership in the Booster Club will provide our student athletes and teams with these resources.

3 - The School Store is Open!

Show your school spirit by shopping at the School Store. We have sweatshirts, sweatpants, t-shirts, school supplies and other logo items! The store is open to students during lunch on Tuesdays & Thursdays, or you can place your order online, 24/7.

**Merch will also be sold at the upcoming home football game. The October 28th home game is PINK OUT and we'll have pink sweatshirts available!**

Shop the School Store
We are also looking for volunteers to help us at the School Store!  Sign up for an hour shift once a week, once a month, or even once a semester. No experience necessary!

4 - Fall Season Stadium Concessions

We’re over halfway through the fall season and the outdoor Concession Stand has been hopping! If you haven’t heard yet, we now accept ApplePay and Google Pay in addition to credit cards and cash! There is a $5 minimum to use your card or phone, but no minimum for cash purchases. Thanks to each and every volunteer who has helped in the Stand this season so far, especially at the Friday night football games! We couldn’t provide such a critical part of the Churchill gameday experience for our fans without you! If you haven’t had a chance to join in the Concessions fun yet, please let us know as we’re always looking for help!  We have weekday games and weekend games so please email Alison Moylan or Jake Lynn if you’d like to learn more!

Thanks to our wonderful Sponsors like House to Home Solutions for their support at Concessions!

5 - Save the Date: The Bulldog Bash is BACK!

SAVE THE DATE: MARCH 10, 2023!

The Bulldog Bash is back in 2023. Mark your calendars for March 10 to join other Bulldog parents and coaches for a fun evening of socializing and fundraising for Churchill Athletics. Email Rachael Datch if you are interested in helping with the event!

6 - Team Updates

CHEER: Our Varsity and JV cheer teams have been enjoying pumping up the football fans with stunts, tumbling, and cheers. The varsity cheer team just won first place at it’s first competition of the season at the Westminster Invitational on Oct. 15th. The team has one more invitational next Saturday before heading to Counties at Blair HS on Oct. 29th! The JV team nailed it at the Showcase and is preparing for its upcoming competitions.

FIELD HOCKEY: After a disappointing loss in the State Championship last year, the Varsity field hockey team started the 2022 season with a strong 9-0 record. The Bulldogs have outscored their opponents 47-1 and have 3 games scheduled this week to finish the regular season. Come cheer for the Bulldogs at 4 at home on Thursday to celebrate the Seniors and to see if the field hockey team can finish the regular season with a 12-0 record. We believe!

SOCCER: The JV Boys soccer team completed a strong season with a 8-1-1 record. The highlight of the season was their final game against rival Walter Johnson when the Bulldogs scored with just four seconds remaining in double overtime.

We are thrilled to feature updates about teams by the players, parents, or coaches. Please send a sentence or two and photos to [email protected]. Subject Line: NEWSLETTER, and we will do our best to include you. We are proud of our Dawgs!
