This year, the Zoo's annual trick-or-treat event,
Zoo Boo, will be October 18, 6-9 pm, October 19, 3-9 pm, and October 20, 12-4 pm.
The Zoo will be CLOSED for regular hours during Zoo Boo.
Admission to Zoo Boo is free for Potawatomi Zoo members. Zoo members MUST show a valid membership card and ID. Admission is not free for members of reciprocal zoos.
For
non-members, admission is $10 for adults 15-61, $8 for children 3-14 and seniors 62+. Babies 2 and under are free.
The Haunted Train will run Friday and Saturday, and is $3 per rider over age 2 (Attraction Passes CAN NOT be used). On Sunday, the train will return to normal and be $2 per rider over age 2 (Attraction Passes CAN be used).
The
carousel will be open all weekend, and rides are $2 per seated rider.
Costumes are always encouraged, but we ask that adults not wear full-face masks.
We'll have
plenty of fun around the Zoo, too. Check out all the carved pumpkins and Halloween decorations! Local author Cheri Hallwood will be reading from her book
A Wish for Winnifred on Friday and Sunday. The cafe, gift shop, Round Barn Bar, Otter Outpost, and Learning Center open during Zoo Boo this year. Don't miss out on State Fair mini donuts, face painting, pumpkin bowling, or cornhole!
Zoo Boo is great for all ages, and we can't wait to see you there!
