This season's opening night with Samara Joy delivered the full Carpenter Center experience: an extraordinary artist in a sublime live concert enjoyed in the company of family and friends. What an absolutely exquisite evening! Last weekend saw another stellar performance as A.I.M by Kyle Abraham enthralled with West Coast dance premieres.
This weekend, make room for even more magic with Superstars of Magicon Saturday, October 7. The show returns with a new selection of Las Vegas illusionists in an evening of magic and comedy for the whole family. Audiences enjoyed the experience so much last season that they asked us to bring it back!
There's another treat in store on Sunday, October 8 at 2 p.m.—especially for jazz and Disney fans. When You Wish Upon a Star: A Jazz Tribute to 100 Years of Disney features an incredibly talented lineup that includes pianist Sean Mason, vocalists Kim Nalley and Sasha Dobson, and The National Jazz Museum in Harlem's house band, which is curated by NJMH's Artistic Directors Jon Batiste and Christian McBride!
Experience amazing musicians and lively jazz favorites from your favorite Disney films—and bring along a friend or two to enjoy the fun. It's the perfect recipe to add joy to your weekend!
See you at the Carpenter Center this Saturday and Sunday!
