If you haven't noticed yet, the St Croix Chamber of Commerce has a new look and a new website! Be sure to take a minute and check it out at www.stxchamber.org
The new website features a new and improved Member Directory with enhanced information including: business description, contact information, logo, featured image and direct links to your website and social media - one of many terrific reasons to join "The Chamber" if you haven't yet or need to renew your lapsed membership.

And to make things even better, you can join The St Croix Chamber of Commerce online today for the pro-rated 2018 rate through the end of the year!

Annual billing for the 2019 calendar year will go out to paid members in mid December 2018.

Note: Lapsed members will need to click "Apply" to submit business information to the new Member Directory initially. You will then be able to renew online in the future.

Current members will receive a second monthly "Members Only" newsletter on the third Thursday of each month chock full of news, information and opportunities useful to the St Croix business community. Additionally, periodic short surveys will go out for input on legislation and other initiatives.

Be sure to add news@stxchamber.org to your safe senders list so that our emails stay out of your junk folder.
Bill 32-0048 re JFL Hospital
The St Croix Chamber of Commerce upon request from the Committee on Health, Hospitals & Human Services has submitted testimony regarding Bill No. 32-048 sponsored by Sen. Nellie O'Reilly: an Act requiring the board of the JFL Hospital to solicit proposals for the selection of a third-party management company or health system to manage the hospital. Bill 32-0048 was originally submitted and held in Committee in May 2017.

Testimony, including feedback from Chamber Members via a recent survey, will be read into the record during the hearing on Friday October 5, 2018.

VI Vote Series Townhall Meeting "The Job Interview" @ CHOP
Various St. Croix District Legislative Candidates, At-Large and Gubernatorial Candidates will be on-hand to answer questions from the public in a Town Hall format starting Thursday Oct 11th at 6pm at CHOP and will continue each Thursday until the general election on Nov 6th.

Chamber Members will receive a survey via email to submit questions for the candidates.
Save the Date Nov 8: Business After Hours at Viya
The next scheduled Business After Hours will be hosted by Viya on Thursday Nov 8th.

The Business After Hours series is a networking, social gathering open to Members and Non-Members alike. It is the perfect opportunity to learn more about your St Croix Chamber of Commerce and connect with fellow St Croix business people and entrepreneurs.
