Support the Local Press

So much has changed in the media business over the last two decades due to technology, changing news consumption and advertising patterns, and evolving business models. But one thing hasn't changed: the need for good reporting to keep residents updated on important local news and events.

We have two main media efforts covering the Biddeford & Saco area: The Biddeford Saco & OOB Courier, the free weekly 'Maine Trust for local news' publication; and Saco Bay News, the local news website exclusively focused on our region.

As you set your marketing and advertising budgets for the coming year, please include these important local options in your mix. A strong media presence locally makes residents and businesses more informed and more proactive in our community.

To conclude in a related if shameless promotional vein :), you can read the Chamber's latest monthly column submission to Saco Bay News HERE
