STANTON'S SPOTLIGHT

Outreach Coordinators Recognized

Stanton's very own Outreach Coordinators, Maria Beltran and Dianna Valtierra, were recognized by the office of Senator Josh Newman for their outstanding work to address homelessness within the

Stanton community.

The recognition followed a ride-along with a representative from Senator Newman’s office, providing a first-hand look at the challenges faced on the streets. This award highlights the incredible work Maria and Dianna do every day to make a difference in the lives of those in need.

FINANCE DEPARTMENT UPDATES

Business License Administration Services Moving

to HdL on October 14

Last November, the City Council approved the outsourcing of the business license tax administration services to HdL. The effective date of this transition will be Monday, October 14. The City’s online business license application and renewal portal will be unavailable from Thursday, October 10 through Sunday, October 13. During this time, the City will not be able to receive any new business license applications or process any business license renewals. HdL will have a dedicated phone number and email address for Stanton businesses to contact them on Monday, October 14. This information will be posted on the City’s Business License page on Monday, October 14. While City staff is always available to answer any questions businesses may have, please note that the City will no longer be processing any business license applications or renewals in person at City Hall starting Thursday, October 10. All business license applications and renewals will be solely administered by HdL.

The City of Stanton has always valued its relationship with the business community and will continue to strive to make sure service and communication is our top priority. If you have any questions or concerns during this transition, please contact Amy Massey, Accounting Manager, at (714) 890-4223 or at AMassey@StantonCA.gov.

Once again, we thank you for signing up for our City Manager's Newsletter. We hope that this information is useful to you as you continue to be a valuable member of the Stanton community.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the City Manager's Office at (714) 890-4277.
