BACnet/SC Interoperability Acceleration Program Update
Release of tools that shorten learning curve and accelerate time to market
|

|
BACnet Secure Connect Interoperability Acceleration program participants have received lots of valuable information over the past several months. Three webinars have been delivered and tools have been distributed that enable rapid creation of BACnet/SC test environments.
Participants received the System Implementation along with the new toolkit, the System Test Bench.
The System Test Bench is a set of configurable tools built on the reference implementation which enables rapid creation of network environments with BACnet/SC nodes, hubs and routers to support testing of BACnet/SC devices in various system configurations. The tools also facilitate testing of BACnet/SC devices over a broad range of system scale, ranging from just a few devices to over a thousand.
How to Get the Tools:
To find out if your company is a participating member of the BACnet/SC Interoperability Acceleration Program with access to these tools, contact Dave Nardone, Regional Operations, at david@bacnetinternational.org
If your company is not a member you can obtain immediate access to the reference implementation and the test tools by joining the program.
The software is expected to become available through an open source repository in July of 2021.

INBAC (Integrated Building Automation Community) Conducts Online Panel Discussion Covering Building Automation in India |

|
INBAC, a non-profit organization driving a community of various stakeholders involved in the building automation domain in India, recently hosted an online panel discussion that brought together industry experts and participants from various sectors of the buildings industry. The webinar, titled “Opportunities for building automation in India,” is the first event in an upcoming series of webinars focused on this topic.
