The Eighth Annual Meeting was held on September 28th at the beautiful home of our Board Chairman, Erin Murphy-Goodman. We had an extremely successful event with an incredible turn out to celebrate the conclusion of our 8th year providing a healthier lifestyle to our deserving youth, raising $40,898! One of the DFF scholarship recipients, Chloe, read a letter she had written describing how much she enjoys her gymnastic classes. Thank you Chloe for your touching presentation!

Clemente Martinez Elementary
We would like to welcome
Clemente Martinez Elementary School to the Discover Fitness Foundation! Thanks to a generous grant we received we are able to provide transportation and weekly classes to all 2nd graders! We are looking forward to a great year helping to change children's lives!

Miyana - One of our talent students

It is with greatest and deepest appreciation I say thank you to Discover Fitness Foundation for selecting Miyana as a scholarship recipient. Because of your financial assistance, Miyana practice, and continue doing what she love. It brings me joy to know a wonderful organization sees her potential and believes in her future as a gymnast. Miyana has been a competitive gymnast at Discover Gymnastics since she was 6, and now that she is 10 years old, she is currently training to Level 7 Competitive Team. Miyana has gained several medals, but after finishing level 4 season and skipping level 5 she began to compete as a level 6 gymnast one month after level 4. Miyana was very proud to have been able to accomplish getting 3 Gold medals for her floor events as a Level 6 gymnast at Svetlana (9.775 1), Woga Classic (9.600 1), and Metroplex (9.700 1 ). as a parent with limited resources Discover has been a blessing and we are very thankful for everything, Thank you Discover Fitness Foundation and Discover Gymanstics." - Miyana's Mother
