Jacobs Center CEO Joins Middle-Income Housing Working Group
Congratulations to our President and CEO, Reginald Jones, on being appointed to Mayor Todd Gloria's Middle-Income Housing Working Group.

The Middle-Income Housing Working Group will develop and evaluate ideas to produce more housing for residents who earn too much to qualify for affordable housing but too little to afford market-rate home costs.
Construction Service Workers Holds Grand Opening Ceremony at the Jacobs Center
Last week, Construction Service Workers celebrated its grand opening as a new tenant at the Joe & Vi Jacobs Center.

Owner-Operator Wanda Rogers, Councilmember Monica Montgomery Steppe, representatives from the offices of other local elected officials, and community leaders participated in cutting the ribbon for the grand opening.
New Business in Market Creek Plaza: Postal Annex
Postal Annex is open in Market Creek Plaza, located between Asia Wok and New York Pizzeria.

Services include:
  • Mail/package shipping
  • Private mailbox rental
  • Copy and printing services
  • Notary public services

Stop by Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
DEEP San Diego Book Drive
Our tenant, DEEP San Diego, is hosting a book drive benefitting the children and families of the Diamond community.

Please bring your gently used children's books for ages 0-9 to the Jacobs Center lobby during business hours (Monday-Friday from 9 a.m.- 5 p.m.) in October and drop off your book(s) in the bin.

Join Logan Heights CDC on Oct. 13 from 10 am. to 11:30 a.m. for a free virtual workshop.

22nd Annual Jobtoberfest
The San Diego Committee on Employment for People with disABILITIES is hosting its free annual Jobtoberfest virtually next Wednesday, Oct 13 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Jobtoberfest is the largest job fair in San Diego County for people with disABILITIES to meet with employers who are ready to employ job seekers with competitive integrated jobs.
