Downtown Trick-or-Treat
October 28, 4-6 PM
Downtown Partners invites you to the Downtown Trick-or-Treat. Ghosts and goblins will have a chance to haunt Downtown Burlington from 4 to 6 PM on Friday, October 28, with treats available at dozens of participating merchants.
As Downtown Trick or Treat continues to grow, we want to ensure everyone's safety; for that reason, we will be closing Jefferson Street to parking and traffic beginning at 3 PM through the end of the event.
Trick-or-Treat is a huge draw and a wonderful goodwill gesture to area children and families. Thanks to all those business owners who welcome them!

Downtown Partners, Inc. Fundraiser Campaign
Downtown Partners, Inc. (DPI) has launched a new Fundraiser Campaign. The campaign is a fun and successful way to support Downtown Burlington! The new Streetscape project means new Downtown décor so this year's donations will be going towards new holiday decorations for 2023!
The first 100 Investors that donate $100 will have (2) seats in the V.I.P. section at the 2022 Lighted Holiday Parade on November 26! This Exclusive Experience is a Thank You from Downtown Partners, Inc.

Branding Technical Services
Burlington is one of five Main Street Iowa communities selected to receive branding technical services.
The selection was based upon the application submitted by Downtown Partners, Inc. to Main Street Iowa. This service, a value of $15,000 to the local community, is to bring Ben Muldrow of Arnett Muldrow & Associates to the community for the Downtown Destination Brand Charrettes . Ben Muldrow is a talented graphic artist who has been designing for over 25 years with experience in a wide variety of marketing applications. He provides community identity and branding services for communities across the United States. Ben has worked on a number of projects specializing in the development of city and neighborhood identities, wayfinding strategies, and promotional marketing material.

Watch Our Progress: Downtown Burlington Is Open For Business
Have you seen all of the progress taking place before your eyes in Downtown Burlington? From Tama Too on Jefferson, Churchill
on Valley and Merge Development project on N 3rd Street, there are going to be 120+ residential units added to the inventory in
Downtown. First floor commercial space is being added, rehabbed, and made ready for entrepreneurs throughout the Downtown
District. TIGER Project work is wrapping up on the Riverfront, Main Street will see the east side open up as the west side of the
street starts construction, and the 500-600 block of Jefferson Street will have street work completed in November.
With all of these projects happening in the Downtown District, remember "We Are Open For Business". Come down and see
the progress in front of your eyes! Stroll, shop, eat, drink, and enjoy the Downtown!

Dozens of storefronts will come alive during the 20th annual Living Windows celebration on December 8!
This favorite holiday event includes lights, carolers, story readings, crafts, decorations, gingerbread houses, free horse-drawn carriage rides, and much more. And of course, Santa Claus will be on hand at his cottage in Nancy Neafie Park at Sixth Street and Jefferson Street.
Living Windows includes complimentary food and beverages at many Downtown stores. It's a great opportunity to do some Christmas shopping, see friends and enjoy the holiday season.

pays tribute to the music created by the 1950s American
Rock n' Roll pioneers. The second half, pays tribute to the
1964 British Invasion bands that re-recorded the forgotten
1950s American rock music and re-energizing it for a

TIGER PRINTS
Tiger paw prints have been seen in Downtown Burlington. Don’t worry. There is not an oversized tiger on the loose. Rather, the colorful paw prints encourage residents to eat, drink and shop Downtown while the TIGER grant redevelopment project makes its way down Jefferson Street.
The Downtown Partners, Inc. Design Committee has made it easy to follow the Tiger Prints to your favorite businesses in Downtown Burlington during the TIGER construction project. You will see more of these prints appear as construction "roars" down Jefferson.

13th Annual Special Olympics Fundraiser at the Paddle Wheel Lounge

October 1 at the Paddle Wheel Lounge, stop by for the 13th Annual Special Olympics Fundraiser. This annual event is the primary fundraiser to raise money so the Burlington Youth Special Olympians can attend the Special Olympics. Kickstands up at Noon for the Motorcycle Fun Run! Travel to restaurants and cafes in Yarmouth, Mt Pleasant, Donnellson and Wever, returning to the Paddle Wheel for the Pie-in-the-Face event at 5 PM, and Live Auction at 6 PM. Come out and help support this great local cause!
