Other great things happening in downtown...
There are so many new businesses that opened in the Downtown, be sure to stop in and say "Hi"!
Thank you to Farney's on Jefferson for being the premier sponsor for the 2021 Sip, Taste & Stroll. It was a beautiful night sipping, tasting and strolling throughout the downtown.
Zaiser’s did a wonderful job with the downtown flower planters again this year. They are a beautiful part of our vibrant downtown. We’re grateful for funding from the John H. Witte, Jr. Foundation and Keep Burlington Beautiful that helps make it possible.
The TIGER Project is moving forward. The city of Burlington was awarded a $17.5 million Transportation Investment Generating Economic Recovery grant in 2018, with plans to use the money to revamp the riverfront and Main and Jefferson street in the downtown district. City council awarded the bid for both projects to Dubuque-based construction company, Poulter Construction. Please see above for more information on construction meetings.
