Board Nomination


The Bardstown-Nelson County Chamber of Commerce is seeking individuals to join our Board of Directors, effective January 1, 2026. As a member of our board, you'll play a vital role in shaping the future of our chamber.


Responsibilities:

  • Active Participation: Regular attendance at board meetings, retreats, and chamber events.
  • Strategic Thinking: Contribute to thoughtful decision-making that aligns with the chamber's goals.
  • Effective Communication: Clearly articulate ideas and collaborate with chamber members.
  • Fiscal Responsibility: Assist in the chamber's financial health and ensure sustainability.
  • Community Leadership: Represent the chamber with integrity and promote its mission.

Qualifications:

  • Membership: Business or Organization is an active member of the Bardstown-Nelson County Chamber for at least one year.
  • Commitment: Dedication to serving a three-year term and actively participating in board activities.
  • Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.
  • Attitude: A positive and collaborative approach to teamwork.

Young Leaders

Our Young Leaders program officially kicked off on September 17th!


We had a day full of learning about leadership in our community. A huge thank you to Danielle Hagler and Samantha Gamblin at the Nelson County Extension Office for leading such an engaging and inspiring first day!

About the BluMine Health Benefit

Employees of Chamber member businesses, as well as their eligible dependents (ages 2-26 if still considered dependents), can now access BluMine Health’s concierge primary care services. For those not employed by a Chamber member business, individuals can join the Chamber to take advantage of this benefit.

This service provides comprehensive, front-line primary care, including:

  • Chronic disease management
  • Annual wellness physicals
  • Basic lab work and blood draws

The cost is just $72 per month for a family plan, with a one-time set-up fee. Payments are conveniently set up via ACH and will be deducted on the 23rd of each month.
