KCCE Conference
The Bardstown-Nelson County Chamber of Commerce finished the two-day Conference with the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce Executives. It was a great two days of conversations about the future role a chamber has in a local community, workforce, equity, and building a strong economy.

Wow, to say the 3rd Annual Cheers to Bardstown was a success, is an understatement. It was a HUGE SUCCESS. First, we want to say thank you to Randi Mouser with Bardstown Main Street, for your partnership on this event! Young Leaders
First day of 2023-2024 Young Leaders! We had a great day getting to know each other, discovering our communication styles, and working in teams to do a “Shark Tank” activity. Big thanks to our Shark Tank judges Tom Hayes, Jennifer Osborne, Thoroughbred Asset Management, and Jessica Leake, Town & Country Bank and Trust Co. Board Nomination Form
The Board of Directors, community partners and the Bardstown Nelson County Chamber of Commerce membership have collaborated to build a community to which residents, visitors and investors are attracted. We continue our progress by recruiting talented representatives to lead our organization.

With that said, the Bardstown-Nelson County Chamber of Commerce is seeking dedicated, enthusiastic and knowledgeable individuals to fill vacancies on the Board of Directors effective January 1, 2024.

As a Director of the Board, you should; 
Have the ability to use careful judgment and express the views of the entire chamber as opposed to your own
  • Attend all Board meetings regularly and promptly
  • Attend the Board Retreat
  • Devote time and energy to all board activities
  • Attend Chamber events
  • Ability to communicate ideas and concepts to a variety of people
  • Maintain objectivity at all times
  • Be responsible for the fiscal/financial responsibilities of the Chamber
  • Draw upon your business background when making decisions
  • Have respect for your associates
  • Be a team player
  • Understand the art of compromise
  • Have a good attitude
  • Ability to inspire
  • Prepare for Board meetings
  • Support the well-being of the Chamber of Commerce
