The Bardstown-Nelson County Chamber of Commerce finished the two day Conference with the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce Executives. It was a great two days of conversations about the future role a chamber has in a local community, workforce, equity, and building a strong economy. 

At the KCCE Annual Awards Dinner our Chamber won 2 awards!

Board Nomination Form
The Bardstown-Nelson County Chamber of Commerce and current Board of Directors are seeking dedicated, enthusiastic and knowledgeable individuals to fill vacancies on the Board of Directors effective January 1, 2022.

 As a Director of the Board, you should; 
  • Have the ability to use careful judgment and express the views of the entire chamber as opposed to your own
  • Attend all Board meetings regularly and promptly
  • Attend the Board Retreat
  • Devote time and energy to all board activities
  • Attend Chamber events
  • Ability to communicate ideas and concepts to a variety of people
  • Maintain objectivity at all times
  • Be responsible for the fiscal/financial responsibilities of the Chamber
  • Draw upon your business background when making decisions
  • Have respect for your associates
  • Be a team player
  • Understand the art of compromise
  • Have a good attitude
  • Ability to inspire
  • Prepare for Board meetings
  • Support the well-being of the Chamber of Commerce
