  SAFETY TIP OF THE MONTH
Fire Prevention Week - October 7-13! Fire Prevention Week is observed each year in commemoration of the Great Chicago Fire of 1871. Fire prevention saves lives and provides a safer work and home environment.

Everyone should review the areas in the work and home environment where flammable materials are stored as well as check smoke alarms, fire extinguishers, electrical outlets with too many cords attached, correctly sizing space heaters and any of the other numerous items that pose the potential for electrical fires.

This safety tip is a reminder to review your overall fire prevention plan or take this opportunity to develop one! Go to www.firepreventionweek.org for a wealth of tools and information!

Email NFCA a safety issue you had and how you solved it. NFCA will choose one “Safety Tip of the Month” to share in the NFCA Enews. Win a NFCA Shirt if your safety tip is chosen!  Email your “Safety Tip of the Month” to Sandy@nfca-online.org
