UAF Logo

Dear Members,

Summer has gotten away from us and Fall is finally ringing in the end of another year. With the changing season, United Angels Foundation has brought a new face to the team. My name is Mariesa, and I've taken on some of the administrative responsibilities at UAF. I am eager to become more involved and am available to help out with any needs pertaining to UAF.

September was full of great activities including a heavily attended parent training. Many have inquired about receiving notes from this session. We have decided to begin posting recaps and videos of this event and future Parent Trainings on the website. This will be available soon, stay tuned for access!

Spina Bifida & Down Syndrome
Awareness Month
Each year in Utah over 80 babies are born with Down Syndrome and more than 1,100 people living in the state suffer from Spina Bifida. Take some time this month to become more informed about each of these life changing conditions so you can support all in your community who are affected by them.
Clayton Hurst interviewed several UAF members and their families to create this photojournalism piece highlighting the
abilities of those who have Down Syndrome.
