From the Vineyard & Winery
We are happy that September brought us dry, sunny days to make up for such a wet summer. The vineyard is now 75% harvested with only Cabernet left on the vine. We plan to harvest Cab next week & then sit back and open a library wine of choice to celebrate the end of crush! | |
Raise your hand if you are excited about harvest!
|
In the winery, we are in the process of fermenting Syrah, Tannat & Touriga with the Reserve Chardonnay, Viognier and Chardonnay base for our sparkling wines also in tank. The smell of fermenting wine is definitely in the air!
We look forward to seeing you at the winery this Fall and remember that Thursdays and Fridays are great days to visit with less traffic through the winery on those days!
Cheers~
