Martial Cottle Fall Festival
Oct. 5 | 10am - 3pm
Come celebrate the legacy and significance of the valley's rich agricultural heritage at the Martial Cottle Park Fall Festival! Enjoy family friendly activities, food and organic produce for sale, meet farm animals, browse the pumpkin patch and sign up your dog to become a bark ranger.

Register today to become an event volunteer. More volunteers are needed to help the day of the event from noon to 4pm.

Neighborhood Naturalists
Oct. 3, 10 & 17 | 6pm - 7:30pm
This new educational program for adults will introduce participants to the natural history of Santa Clara County with an emphasis on the region's geology, botanical communities, and wildlife. Participants will take part in twilight hikes, science investigations, nature journaling, and a community service project. 3 Thursdays: October 3, 10 & 17 from 6pm to 7:30pm.

Hike the Magnificent 7
#PixInParks Challenge Ends 12/1
Enjoy the beauty of the fall season by hiking 7 magnificent hikes, all hand picked by our staff for you to explore new terrain and see spectacular vistas. Hike by yourself or with friends and family. Or, join this month's guided Magnificent 7 hike at Coyote Lake. Complete all seven adventures to earn your #PixInParks t-shirt or bandana.

Day on the Bay, Alviso Marina
Oct. 13 | 10am - 3pm
The annual Day on the Bay at Alviso Marina County Park is set for Saturday, Oct. 13 from 10am to 3pm. Activities include free pumpkins for kids, entertainment, live music, free kayak rides and free hamburgers. Join the community bike ride along the Guadalupe River trail from downtown San Jose to the Day on the Bay event.

La Fuente
Oct. 19 | Noon to 4pm
Celebrate the diverse families that have lived at Bernal-Gulnac-Joice Ranch from the past, present, and future. This FREE family event is open to all ages and includes cultural performances, local community presentations, and kid friendly activities.

Become a volunteer while enjoying a fun-filled day on the ranch. County Parks is looking for volunteers to help the day of the event from 10am to 5:30pm.

Raptor Fest
Nov. 9 | Reserve NOW!
Join for a family-friendly celebration of raptors and the unique habitat for birds of prey at Rancho San Vicente. The event will feature live birds, guided nature walks, and educational activities for all ages. This event is brought to you in partnership with Pensinsula Open Space Trust. Saturday, November 9 from noon to 4pm at Rancho San Vicente at Calero County Park. Reservations required.
