Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP)
aligns with our
to drive initiatives to support students and staff across our schools. A crucial component of the LCAP’s development is gathering feedback from a wide range of stakeholders, including our parent community. The LCAP Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) is a forum for a diverse group of parents from across the district to share ideas about how we can best serve our students and reach our goals.
This opportunity is open to all parents to express an interest in participating on the PAC. This committee represents all six schools, and the committee is required to have a parent of an English Language Learner, a foster child, and a low-income student. We will hold at least four meetings throughout the school year to discuss our LCAP goals. Current dates include November 14, 2018; January 11, 2019; March 7, 2019; April 5, 2019. We will work collaboratively to determine the meeting times for each date.
- Tell us about your involvement in Mill Valley schools, and how would you contribute to the development of our LCAP?
- What diverse perspective would you bring to the committee?
We will select at least one parent representative for each school and ensure that the required parent participants are on the committee. We look forward to engaging in these discussions and hearing your ideas for making our schools places where all students thrive!
