SYSTEM MAINTENANCE FOR OCTOBER
Listed below are maintenance items to check during the month of October. This is from our yearly irrigation checklist which can be downloaded here .

  • Review as-built drawings and update for changes made through the year
  • Post-aerification system check look for leaks, broken caps, damaged QCVs, etc.
  • Review winterization videos and instructions
  • Winterize fertigation system
  • Staff meeting to assess strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats
  • Note any locations where quick coupler valves should be added and order parts
  • Create and prioritize project list for next year's budget
  • Schedule planning visit with your Turf Equipment representative
We urge you to watch this fifteen-minute video prior to winterization so you know what will need to be done. The video will give you an overview of the steps involved and graphically show how it is performed on a typical golf course.


UPGRADE YOUR WINTERIZATION PROCESS


After watching the winterization video, you may want to purchase a kit to fabricate your own setup so you are prepared.  The kit includes a 2" Parker pressure regulator with matched air pressure gauge and a set of universal couplers.  Call or email our CSRs today if you would like to order a kit.  They can also help you customize the kit with additional fittings and adapters to tie into your system's point of connection.

ANNUAL INVENTORY AT ALL BRANCHES
