It was a battle of the brains as 15 teams put their minds to the test! It was a night of fabulous raffles, great food, challenging trivia questions and lots of laughs.

Topic: Children (Kids Helping Kids)

Join us for our next Kindness Korner Virtual Workshop! This workshop will focus on children in need. Kids can join us for a 30 - 45 minute group discussion on Zoom.

Our October 7th discussion will include:
  • Children in crisis
  • Underserved babies
  • Disadvantaged students
  • Ways we can help

The cost is $30 and includes:
  • Project materials for 5 different hands-on activities
  • Materials to create 5 cards of encouragement
  • A link to the 30 - 45 minute interactive open workshop

World Homeless Day
October 10th
 
This day is a reminder to all of us that the homeless population has many needs and to keep in mind the many opportunities that are there for all of us to help.   

Consider a family project to bring awareness to your children. We have several projects that benefit the homeless community. Check out our website for project ideas. Even something as simple as a card of encouragement to lift an individual's spirit. What a great learning opportunity.   #homelessday

Grants Available
MontCo, PA Schools

Since our launch of #MontcoServes in
December of 2020, several Montgomery County schools have taken part in the campaign. Community service projects have been provided by this community sponsored program.

This one time grant is now available to all public elementary and middle schools in Montgomery County. Click below to inquire about bringing service projects to your child's school!
Adopt a Shelter Dog Month

October is the perfect month to raise awareness about adopting animals from area shelters. To honor these four-legged pups, consider:

·      donating supplies to an area shelter
·      social posting using the hashtag #AdoptAShelterDogMonth
·      making dog toys (click below for instructions)
