Crystal Lake Public Library will serve as an early voting site for McHenry County voters from Oct. 21 to Nov. 4. Voting booths will be set up in the library’s Ames Room.

AuthorFest: Magic & Fantasy

Journey into the woods and other enchanted places with local authors. Featuring CLPL’s own Alyssa Wees, whose book "Nocturne" was called a “lush and romantic story” according to "Library Journal;" and fantasy authors Kevin Sutherland, creator of "Wellspring: Book 1 of Wielders of Power," and Jessica Kemery, who has written several series including "The Dragon Keepers of Dumara." We’ll explore their worlds of epic quests, forbidden love, heroes, misfits and villains. Registration required.
