We are excited to introduce our next Wisdom Workshop! Wisdom Workshops are free information workshops for seniors based on a variety of topics. Come to learn something new! Registration is not required.
  
County Connection: Better Understanding of the Senior Clipper Card

Come learn about the benefits of using the Senior Clipper Card for transit fares. Learn how the card works, where to go to load money on the card, and information on the service center. Tips on troubleshooting will also be shared. Mary will have the cards available for purchase.

Come learn about the common causes of falls, the three most important parts of fall prevention, and what to do should a fall happen. Receive a fall prevention checklist to help make your home safer and learn a few simple exercises to improve your balance. Lunch will be provided, pre-registration is required. Come explore the new SFMOMA, it is now bigger and better than ever! The new San Francisco Museum of Modern Art features an equally transformed digital program which now connects with audiences through accessible, interactive experiences that break down the boundaries between art, entertainment, and learning. Camron-Stanford House, Oakland

The Camron-Stanford House is the last of the beautiful 19th century mansions that once surrounded Lake Merritt. In its long life, the house was the private residence of five families instrumental in the development of the City of Oakland and the State of California. In the early 20th century it became the first museum in the City of Oakland. On your guided tour, you will be able to walk through authentic rooms that have been meticulously recreated using descriptions found in personal letters, newspaper accounts, vintage photographs and other architectural research. After the tour, Victorian Christmas which will include holiday decorations, a light lunch will be served.
