Rim of the World Interpretive Association (ROWIA) will conduct its second Native Plant Sale of the year at Heaps Peak Arboretum, Saturday, October 14th. A wide variety of plants native to the San Bernardino Mountains will be available at the sale, which starts promptly at 9 a.m. Salegoers typically begin lining up at the Arboretum’s entrance before 8 a.m. Established in 1982, ROWIA is the nonprofit organization that manages and maintains the Arboretum’s 30-acre site. Ballroom Burn Goes Spooky!
Learn the "Thriller" dance choreographed by Michael Jackson that was featured in his famous 1983 music video where Zombies rise from their graves to show off their hip and jazzy dance moves.
Steve Valentine, local dance instructor is teaching "Spooky" classes the entire month of October to get you ready for a fun and active way to celebrate Halloween. Along with "Thriller", learn how to do the "Creepy Cha Cha Cha" and the "Werewolf Waltz".
Join us if you dare! No partner is needed, this is a group class. Drop-in rate $20, or all October classes (10 classes max) $150.

The Discount Dining & Shopping Card may be purchased on our website, from club members, and the Lake Arrowhead Chamber Office & Visitor Center in Lake Arrowhead Village. The card is good for one year and can be used as many times as the card holder wishes. When patronizing the restaurant or business, please present the card when order is placed and then the discount is applied.

Organization is a safe community for Veterans of the San Bernardino National Forest, and their families to get the support they need from others who have also served. Learn about the benefits of joining the RimVets Community. We welcome all Veterans from all Military Branches, and we assist anybody who needs help.

Wildhaven Ranch is a wildlife sanctuary, education and visitation center for endangered and indigenous wild animals. It is operated by the San Bernardino Mountains Wildlife Society, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
Our purpose is to provide a protective environment where non-releasable wild animals can live out their lives in safety and peace. We're not a zoo, and Reservations are required to visit.
