The Young Professionals Committee (YPC) of AHHE is the dedicated group of rising healthcare leaders with the shared mission to prepare and inspire new generations of diverse healthcare executives and decision-makers. The group consists of previous AHHE Mentorship alumni in addition to young leaders identified in the community. The YPC will manage and enhance the AHHE Mentorship Program through collaboration with the Managers Council and the Board of Directors.

AHHE President attended HLNY's (Healthcare Leaders of New York)  1st Annual  Mini -Congress on 9/22. The theme was "Leading Well," intending to deepen knowledge through panel discussions including:
Developing High Performing Teams, Hospitalist Program Development, and Diversity & Inclusion. Afternoon panel comprised of Directors of Diversity: George Walker/Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, Mecca Santana/Westchester Medical Center, LaRay Brown/Interfaith Medical Center and Kenya Beard/Jersey College.
