Greetings!
The season opener is under a month away and it’s exciting to feel and see the kids, parents and staff getting ready to kickstart another great season on the NFJGTOUR. Thirty-six events are being planned again this season, and they will be hosted at many of our area’s top clubs between October 26, 2025 and July 31st, 2026. The schedule is not yet completed, but we are working hard on securing some great venues.
It’s not even the end of September and we’re already nearing the 100-member mark as we expect over a 400-member season. Last season we reached 422 members with over 200 elite players who played in and captured many championships from around the area, state and nation.
This past season our present and alumni played in 36 NFJGTOUR events, the PGA Junior Championship, Junior Amateur, US Amateur, The PLAYERS Championship, Junior PLAYERS Championship, The Azalea, JAGA Amateurs/Championships, First Coast Women's Amateur, St. Augustine Amateur and on the USA Junior Ryder Cup Team. WE are so PROUD of every member. The Karen Korf Championship is still to come. The staff and I are proud to have the opportunity to witness firsthand the growth and maturity of our junior players.
The 2025/2026 season will include events at TPC Sawgrass (Stadium and Pete Dye’s Valley), Atlantic Beach Country Club, Bent Creek Golf Club, Cypress Lakes Golf Club, Deerwood Country Club, Deercreek Country Club, Eagle Harbor Golf Club, Jacksonville Beach Golf Club, Jacksonville Golf and Country Club, King and Bear, Laurel Island Golf Club, Mark Bostick Golf Club, Marsh Landing Country Club, Palatka Golf Club, Ponte Vedra Inn & Club, Prestwick at Plantation Bay, Slammer & Squire, San Jose Country Club, St. John’s Golf and Country Club, St Johns Golf Club, The Golf Club at South Hampton, and Trident Lakes Golf Club.
There are a few popular club names missing from the above list, but we will keep trying to get all our area clubs to support our junior golf initiatives.
This season we will once again host our winter “Middle School Golf Program” from February 2026 to April 2026 and then again host our “Middle School Summer Program” (June-August) while the kids will be out of school. We will also host 10-15 “Summer Camps” at various courses throughout North Florida.
We also hope to have a gathering with all the area college coaches and once again host the “Shadow a PRO for a day” program.
To all our Foundation Partners and Sponsors – We can’t do “our thing” without you. THANK YOU for your kind and generous support.
All the best!
Jack Aschenbach, PGA
