Badger FFA Advisors Larry Plapp and Candice Franks and Badger FFA members set up and ran labs in which each elementary student participates. Those labs are fun (and tasty) and help the elementary children understand agriculture, science and their importance to Wisconsin and the world. The labs included...

Central-Denison Elementary School
Students in Mrs. Isom’s class at Central-Denison Elementary School practiced many Kindergarten skills: they practiced following multi-step directions, building sentences with words, and a beginning writing strategy - labeling.
- Students built a fire truck using many different parts and shapes while following multi-step directions.
- Students became “sentence surgeons” and put together a break apart sentence.
- Students then used beginning sounds and blending sounds together to match the labels to the correct part of the fire truck.
These are Kindergarteners that are on their way to becoming readers and writers!
