What is MAP

The Michigan Activity Pass (MAP) is a statewide collaborative program between Michigan’s public libraries and participating partner destinations. MAP provides Michigan library cardholders the opportunity to discover and learn more about participating cultural destinations, parks, campgrounds, and recreation areas in the state at a discounted rate.

2023 Magazines Available To Check Out

Our 2023 magazine collection is organized alphabetically by title and ready to be checked out! We currently have 88 unique magazine titles for you to browse, select and borrow. The 2023 magazines are located on the shelf near our newspaper spinning rack in the adult section of the library on our main level.

Call or stop by the Library to schedule a time to receive one-on-one help with your phone, tablet, laptop, e-readers, or other device!

Tech Help and notary services are free services provided by the Cheboygan Area Public Library.

How to Access Your Digital Library

Your library card is always with you if you have the PAC2 app on your phone!

Library patrons can now download the PAC2 app to their smartphone or tablet and have instant access to our library catalog at their fingertips. The app has all the features of our online catalog. Browse our collection, place holds and renew books online. The PAC2 app can store your library card so if you leave home without your library card simply open the app select your card and scan to check out! Download this free app from Google Play or the Apple App Store or stop by the library, our staff is happy to assist you!

We have partnered with Michigan Department of Health & Human Services to provide free rapid test kits to our community. Stock up on kits for yourself or claim up to five per household. If you are feeling unwell or have a confirmed exposure please park in our curbside pick-up parking, call the library & someone will run some kits out to you. The Book Nook is Open!

The Friends of the Cheboygan Area Public Library host a used book sale twice a week! Find some new-to-you books on Tuesdays and Saturdays from 10:30am to 2pm in the Book Nook bookstore on the Library's Lower Level.
