Enter the Mini-Pumpkin Contest
Pick up a small pumpkin from the library, take it home and decorate it. Return the pumpkin to the library by October 20 for display and judging

Computer Classes
Starting October 19 at 9:30 a.m., the library is hosting volunteer computer instructors from the People's Resource Center to provide a 6-week course on Microsoft Word. SEATS are LIMITED: call the PRC at 630-384-1344 to register. Ask about receiving a free refurbished computer for home use.
Book Discussions
Tuesday Evening Book Group will meet at 7 p.m. on October 22 to discuss Unsheltered, by Barbara Kingsolver.

Crime Readers will meet at 7 p.m. on October 17 at Home Run Inn Pizza in Darien to discuss The Wife Between Us, by Greer Hendricks and Sarah Pekkanen.

Emerging new artists and well-known local talents have submitted more than 50 dynamic art pieces for the October exhibit, which runs through Oct. 28.
