From the Director's Desk:
Precision Medicine is an approach to treat and prevent diseases that takes into account an individual’s genes, environment, and lifestyle. Using the Precision Medicine approach, doctors and researchers can determine a treatment and prevention strategies for a particular person and their disease. We are fortunate in Missouri that many of our research institutions have made Precision Medicine a priority. The Missouri Cures Education Foundation partnered with the Missouri Science & Technology (MOST) Policy Initiative and University of Missouri Flagship Council to produce an educational video focused on Precision Medicine. Saint Louis University and the NextGen Precision Health Institute at the University of Missouri are featured in the video. What an exciting time in Missouri to see cures and therapies moving forward!

Kindest regards,

Dena Ladd
Executive Director
