Join The Well on Saturday, October 18, from 11 AM–2 PM for a special wellness event featuring Hollie’s Massage and the Ozinga Pink and White Ready Mix Truck!
- Thermography Scans: Safe, non-invasive imaging that detects heat and blood flow patterns to identify inflammation or imbalances. Scans are $175, with $50 donated to the Mokena Cancer Support Center. Scheduled in 30-minute increments in The Well’s private lounge.
- Chair Massage: Enjoy complimentary chair massages from Hollie’s Massage on a walk-in basis in the studio.
- Ozinga Truck: See the pink and white Ozinga ready mix truck up close in the Trolley Barn parking lot from 11–12:30 PM—a special awareness initiative.
- Extras: Light bites, clean drinks, and open balcony (weather permitting).
A relaxing wellness day perfect for sharing with your mom, sister, friend, or loved one.

Join Us for Fall Work Day at Camp Manitoqua!
Saturday, October 18, 2025 | 8:30 AM – 11:30 AM
Looking for a meaningful way to serve with others? Camp Manitoqua’s Fall Work Day is a perfect opportunity for individuals, families, students, churches, small groups, youth groups, schools, and businesses to come together and make a difference.
Volunteers will help with:
- Clearing leaves, sticks, branches, and weeds
- Sprucing up shelters, buildings, and grounds
- Preparing the camp for the winter season and ongoing retreats and Outdoor Ed programs
Students can earn 3 community service hours during the morning.

Film Screening: Cosmic Dawn: A James Webb Space Telescope Documentary on Monday, October 20 at 7p. Ready to join the cosmic adventure? Cosmic Dawn is the incredible true story of the James Webb Space Telescope – humanity’s largest and most powerful space telescope – on a mission to unveil the early universe, against all odds. The 97-minute documentary brings viewers on an unprecedented journey through Webb’s delicate assembly, rigorous testing, and triumphant launch, showcasing the sheer complexity and breathtaking risks involved in creating a telescope capable of peering billions of years into the past. Frankfort Public Library District is delighted to be an official James Webb Space Telescope Community Engagement Site & NASA Cosmic Dawn Community Event Host.

Wicked Sing-Along Party on Tuesday, October 21 at 6pm. Dust off your best black hat or your fanciest tiara and wand and join us for a Wicked good time! We'll have a sing-along with some of the best songs from the movie as well as a few Wicked-themed activities before we watch the virtual event with big-screen Nessa Rose: Marissa Bode! Come for the sing-along, the virtual event or both! Costumes would be POPULAR!

🍂🎃 Get ready for fall fun at Sojourn Therapeutic Riding Center’s Fall Fest Fundraiser on Sunday, October 26, 2025, from 12 PM – 5 PM! Bring the whole family out for an afternoon packed with excitement—bounce houses, games, hobby horse and sack races, raffles, music, and a costume contest with awesome prizes. Plus, enjoy tasty food, refreshing drinks, and even professional photos with our horses available for purchase.
Every ticket makes a difference! Proceeds help provide safety equipment like helmets and vests, horse care including hay, grain, vet, farrier, and wellness needs, as well as scholarships that support student advancement.

Starting September 29, 2025, Master Bespoke Tailor and Designer Eric W. Stiles Sr. is bringing his highly sought-after fashion courses to Joliet Junior College.
Whether you're a complete beginner or an advanced student, these engaging, hands-on 2½-hour classes are designed to build your skills, confidence, and creativity. No experience is required—just bring a working sewing machine with foot pedal and your enthusiasm to learn!
