"He is Heartbroken..."
It’s tough to read the emails we receive after the quarter closes and funds run are depleted.. Thankfully, Jarod’s mom applied for his football program before the deadline, but securing the necessary paperwork proved challenging. As a result, he was initially unable to participate until funding was available. Fortunately, we were able to get him involved and secure additional funds—but how many other kids miss out because of financial constraints?
No child should have to sit on the sidelines due to an inability to pay. When friends of ConfiKids learned about Jarod’s situation, they quickly stepped in with donations, ensuring he could play the game he loves

RODMAN RIDE 2024
We knew how awesome our team was in general, but September 21st efforts was a true display of dedication and commitment to our mission and to the Rodman Ride for Kids effort.
Thank you to our six team members who rode in less-than-optimal conditions. Susan Phillips, Helene Savage, Robert Bubencik, Matthew Brightman, Skip Barry and Dave Abbott. THANK YOU!
Whether our team members could or couldn’t ride yesterday - they all raised the needed funds for the kids we serve and we are truly thankful for each and every one of them!
Thank you Lynne Abbott and Maddie Graceffa for organizing our volunteers. The teen volunteers for the Kids Corner and the team Volunteers during the day - we are so grateful for you.
Thanks, Susan Phillips, for leading our team and for Yorke and Hayden’s Road crew help.
Thank you to all our donors who helped us to raise $70,000 of our $100,000 goal this year!
And a special thanks to Amy Rossman and the Rodman for Kids team for every single planned detail and effort you put into ride day - especially when weather does not cooperate! You support each one of our organizations in every possible way.

2024 Ride was soggy… sure. But what a display of teamwork and dedication to kids!

Did you know we help many kids each participate in hockey?
Our funding, which families apply for annually, makes a lasting impact year after year. For instance, we can invest up to $8,000 in a child’s passion for hockey, supporting their journey through youth sports and preparing them for high school tryouts.
Without this assistance, many children miss out on opportunities to compete against peers who have had years of training. For some, participating in sports is what keeps them engaged in school.
Join us in leveling the playing field for kids who can’t afford these activities. Your support can make a real difference!

This month's
Volunteer Spotlight is... Gerry Walsh
|
Quarter Three has been the most demanding by far!
At the helm of processing so many applications, reaching out to vendors and organizing our applicants is Gerry Walsh.

We thank him for putting smiles on the faces of hundreds of kids this year and volunteering so many hours to make sure kids get back to their communities and building confidence.
