By glancing at the thermometer it is hard to believe our fall seasons with be finishing up in only a few weeks. Summer and the hot temps seem to just keep hanging on. 

I hope you all are enjoying a fun sports season. It is great to see so many new families this season. 

I would first like to thank all our coaches and volunteers; without you T&C would not be possible. You are what makes T&C a special place for all our children to play and learn.

Don't miss our second annual Trunk or Treat event on Saturday, October 26, just before Halloween. We hope to build on the success of last year’s event. If you are interested in participating either as a trunk provider or as a Trick-or-Treater please read below or go to our events page on the website for additional information.

We will also be hosting our third annual Turkey Trot on the Sunday after Thanksgiving. Although the family fun run event is free, registration is necessary and to avoid having to fill out forms the day of the event. I encourage you to register online and come out to run off some of those extra holiday calories.

Registration is now open for Basketball season and we will open for all our spring sports in the next couple of weeks. So, watch your emails and follow us on social media to stay informed of upcoming season information. I encourage you to sign up early to guarantee your spot as some sports are limited in available space.

Many of you will be playing your end-of-season tournaments in the next few weeks. I wish you all good luck! Remember to play hard, play fair and have fun!!

• Soccer: We are looking forward to the cooler weather and the back end of the season. Registration for Winter Futsal and Winter Training will open soon.  
• Softball: 1^st half of the season our teams travelled to other ballyards. Second half of the season we will see T&C Softball playing home games with end of season tournament scheduled Nov 9th.    
• Baseball: RoundRock Express Fall fundraiser went well. Overall great feedback from parents to date. No mid-season tournament but looking forward to end of season tourney. 
• Lacrosse (LAX): Weekly clinics are going great. New “sixes” game format on Saturdays is well received. Working on opening registration for post-season tournament play this Winter. 
• Flag Football: Divisions are enjoying competitive games. Getting lots of compliments on our new in-house trained refs. Final regular season games this week. Playoffs start next week.

2025 Town & Country Optimist Club Board of Directors

During the October T&C Optimist Club General Meeting on Monday, October 7th the installment of the 2025 Board of Directors took place.

The new positions filled were Stephen Nold as Secretary (pictured far left), Josh Brown as Director (pictured third from the right), Jim Ulmer as Vice President (pictured third from left), and Todd Brooker as President (pictured center/4th from the left).
