Dave Divoky has been teaching art at Maharishi University since 1984. Figurative sculpture, art, and nature are the primary focus of Dale’s teaching.
His artwork has been exhibited in galleries throughout the United States and has been selected for public collections, including the Mario Lanza Museum in Philadelphia; New York State Capital Building, NY; University of Iowa Hospitals; Meredith Building (Better Homes and Gardens), Des Moines, IA. Dale was part of a three-person exhibit at the Quad Cities Airport Gallery and a two-person exhibit in the Smithsonian’s Natural History Hall.
The making of ceramic koi began with a grant from the Iowa Arts Council to make 20 large koi for a three month exhibit at the Des Moines Botanical Garden. The ceramic koi and other works were exhibited at the Chait Gallery for 8 years, selling close to 200 koi.
